June 29th was a good day for strange trespasses in Atherton.

01:41 TRESPASSING
Occurred on Callado Wy.unwanted subj in RP’s shower "E" RP claims she is high on something. She claimed police dropped her off.Subj was contacted/warned for trespassing and was brought to the Menlo Park train station. Disposition: Settled at scene.
An extremely high girl in some good Athertonian’s shower? And the cops respond by giving her a ride to the train station? (And lest you think that the cops might just have been trying to get her as far away from Atherton as possible, I should emphasize that no trains run at 2 AM in the Peninsula.) Something very weird was going on here. One might even be inclined to think that E was, or had once been, a proper Athertonian herself. “E! We’ve told you a hundred times that you’re not our daughter anymore! Get out of the shower! GET OUT OF THE SHOWER OR I’M CALLING THE POLICE AGAIN!”

12:54 SUSPICIOUS PERSON
Occurred on Ashfield Rd. rp standing by in a red F150 4 * 4 truck.//male sitting on porch drinking. He was advised of 602 PC and sent on his way. Disposition: Advised.
“Hi. Officer? There is a man sitting on my porch drinking. I will be sitting here in my F150 4 x 4 truck until you remove him, as I find his presence offensive. It is extremely important that you know that I will be in an F150 4 x 4. No, no, not 'four-wheel drive.' FOUR by FOUR. Did you take that down?” 602 PC, by the way, is the section of the California penal code that deals with trespassing.

13:28 TRESPASSING
Occurred on Fair Oaks Ln. . RP came home to find male subject sitting in her living room. she asked him to leave and he did. Subj: MJ was arrested for 602 PC and taken to county jail Disposition: Arrest Made.
Could this possibly be the same man who was sitting on Ashfield Road half an hour ago? Could he have been so drunk that he thought this was his home? And was this why the cops arrested him for trespassing for leaving when asked?

17:26 TOWN ORDINANCE VIOLATION
Occurred on Mac Bain Av. lot behind house being cleared. Working with chainsaws//ordinance states gardening work can be done until 1800. RP was called and advised. Disposition: No Action Taken.
